| This is a favourite route for me, albeit with a different variant from point 12 where I continue straight and take the steeper and more direct zig zag descent. Do take note of the route description at point 6 as its easy to miss and I have done so once by not paying attention despite having run the route before – all is not lost if you miss the turning as the path will re-join the route once you reach the boundary track. Dig deep on the hill between 9 and 10 as the gradient steepens before the corner, you will soon be rewarded with a long and easy gradient descent in which to recover. |
